Have walks on the beach, visit Portsmouth and Chichester. This time we'll be celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. Next year we have plans for something a little more exciting. Probably a cruise. |

My favourite (road) bike routes normally start with the ride to Grassington and a coffee stop...somehow it's always sunny, but I haven't been there much this year

I donโt know about that @jda You seem to be taking away all my conquercise zones. You get over here more often than I get over to Settle. |

The festival work with Oxfam does sound good @XB a good way to get some new experiences without the expense. Though we only have a tent .. We are off to France later today by train. Paris for a couple of nights, then the Alps to see friends, then Annecy for a week, then a few days undecided before returning to London for Bruce Springsteen at Wembley. |

My wife got a big tax rebate in 2017 which we assumed was correct as she did move jobs a few times that year and know that mucks up tax. HMRC decided 2 months ago they want it back and we have now had to agree a repayment plan over 12 months Now we have started to take 2 small DB pensions and one of those has been over taxed, but awaiting the 'payslip' before I query anything |
