Sigh
After having to make a payment for unpaid tax of circa £1400 in 2018 - due to a balls-up with payroll at work - I've since tracked my tax liability myself, in a spreadsheet. It took me a few attempts to get it right, but it's proving invaluable now.

Our financial advisor told us not to do it and too invest with him so he could make us more money. I didn't listen and queried his workings etc and he didn't like it very much. 3.5 years in and we are pretty on track with my figures. |

D has been brilliant I have a final salary pension which he’s told me what I need to know before I put my request in and then after I do what I then need to know. He’s advised on paying mortgage of and when and a few other things we didn’t think about. So soonest for both for different reasons is April next year but he’s also said to OH he could look to go part time which might be a nice balance for now.

Great news GG. Get that mortgage paid off, it's like a huge weight being taken away and will speed you towards retirement.
