EvilPixie 18 Apr 8:38am, 18 Apr 2024 53,489 posts	0 EvilPixie Direct Boss has been on holiday this week so handed in to bigger boss (so boss will have a bigger surprise!) this week has been so much nicer - I've been able to chill and still (shockingly) get my work done, it seems that listening to music etc does not stop you working! So I have 9 weeks of which boss is away for 4-5 of them. I have said I will honor covering her when she is off - this would have been overtime but not sure how it works when you resign so by putting "last day in the office" it allows them to give me "days off in lieu" so my last day would be later. I will say I am retiring and that thinking you have cancer really does change your views on work - I will point out the other things at my exit interview

(Currently writing from a hotel room in Mallorca. Waiting for the rain to stop so we can get out cycling. Like being at home in the dales😁 )
