My favourite song might be "Cathedral Song" by the sainted Tanita Tikaram - but you'll get a different answer in you come back in thirty minutes. Fillums change almost as often. Books not so much.

I'm reading Ordinary People at the moment.

I stand by my views on Normal People and hope Bint likes it as much as I did.

I must re-read that, Deinonychus. One of those books I read late teens / early 20s, was certainly impressed at the time but can remember very little about it.

Nope, Ordinary People by Diana Evans - about two late 30s, London couples.

Here's a review that may (does) contain spoilers.

I finished Normal People. I was left questioning my understanding of 'normal'. I suppose the simplistic and obvious explanation is that there is no such thing as normal, which is true, but also trite. I think the book deserves a better title. I also think I should take the rest of my thioughts to a blog as there will be spoilers.

Just doing a bit of a book throw out and I came across 'if nobody speaks of remarkable things', which I don't think I ever got round to reading.

It's been on the shelves here in Dalston since 2003. EEK!

Given how much I completely adored Resevoir 13 I think I'll read it next.

Still haven't got further than 30 pages in with Milkman.

Liebling's sister gave her that 'If no-one speaks etc' book because she thought it was one of the best books evs. Our copy too has remained quite near the bottom of the TBR pile.
