Finished this yesterday

Tasting Sunlight vby Ewald Arenz translated by Rachel Ward.

A while ago I saw on that twitter this book was recommended can't remember who but since I follow Orenda the publishers it was probably them

Sally a teenager runs away from a clinic treated for anorexia

Liss a forty something woman living alone on a farm. A story across the generations

It is beautiful. At first I wasn't sure I liked it but it got better. How 2 opposite people can connect

One to recommend

Overall I read 25 books this year a record for me of these the authors came from 10 non US/UK Countries
Pretty good I reckon

Finland
Denmark
Italy
France x2
Germany x3
Iceland
Norway

Looking forward to 2025

Do we really need another book thread?

Well I'm starting one anyway. It may be a solo thread...
