halfpint of mulled cider
Much better week this week. I’ve done HIIT workout Monday, climbing Tues and swimming in the sea in the dark last night. Tonight I will almost certainly bike. Most importantly I climbed like sh*t and didn’t care AND I haven’t beaten myself up about lack of fitness activities last week. The social stuff is there but I’m too exhausted from work to actively seek it out.

I went to London last week and wandered round the V&A, it was actually busier with the ticket system because usually everyone just crowds into the cafe instead of looking at anything I need to go back to look at more stuff, a couple of hours just scratches the surface And last night was the cinema, Die Hard! Lovely little cinema I’d never been to before with sofas and drinks brought to you. Never knew that place existed, I’ll go back again This weekend is a big walking weekend, should be fun And back to the bouncy floor again at long last. I’ve missed it

Fleecy was it the V&A we met at a couple of years ago? Die Hard in the cinema sounds great!

I love cinemas like that. I used to belong to whichever one it is at the Komedia in Brighton when I lived there.
I think the sea swimming is amazing! I moan enough about just having to go outside in the cold, let alone into the water.

It's quite a buzz Maz. That is once you get over that feeling of the wetsuit filling with icy water. I could feel it come in at my neck and then flow down my arms last night. It soon warms up once you get moving though.
I have an option to go to a Loch to swim tomorrow afternoon, then to a friend's for a SD dinner, then onto the climbing wall. I am really torn between an afternoon of getting shit done and an afternoon of social stuff - the logistics of swim, dinner, climb and remembering all the right kit is probably the biggest barrier right now.

How you managed to get your shit together and have fun HP Had a decent weekend of running. Mini Fetch meetup with fleecy and TeeBee on Friday, a nice progressive quick 5k Saturday and a long run with hills today and home via the market for breakfast.

Oh, and having dinner 3 months of Run the Sum I am giving that up but still streaking, only trying to do some more useful training in amongst it. Almost sounds like a plan.

Sounds like a great weekend GH.
I got a better offer which allowed me to swim in the sea (fun) and get stuff done (boring but necessary).
I opted to spend my weekend doing DIY and household chores and it was the right decision. Finally made a decent dent in the to do list. Going into the week feeling on top of things is a win.
