I used to be a proper smart-notebook fiend and also have some lovely coloured pens, but the notebook I'm currently using for assorted neat work (as opposed to scribbled notes, which go in an A4 sized 2015 diary with half the pages already ripped out) is the same one that I used to keep track of my income and expenditure in 2005-2006.

In my first job at McVities I used to use my own nice notebooks with pretty colour pens and I did headings and stuff like a bullet journal

I was learning and had lots of tasks so it really helped

I’ve used a cheap office A5 book to take notes and write down what I want to do in my new journal!

I’ve been using a paperblank notebook since 2018 (not the same one obv) as a gratitude journal. Every night a write 3 positive things about my day. The notebook has to be beautiful, that’s very important

I do bookbinding and book arts as a hobby. I make layouts in Affinity Publisher. Quite a lot of fuss compared to simply drawing a grid on some paper (or whiteboard) which is what I used to do. I always found it looked pretty but didn't actually achieve anything - perhaps I should try aagin.

I'm also going into my fourth year of the question a day five year journal that I bought myself, er, just over three years ago I guess.

Mostly, I live or, but some of the days the questions were shit and I replaced them with different ones.

So who’s got a new notebook/journal for 2025?

I have but I’m yet to use it as I don’t want to mess it up 😂😂

Please tell me I’m not alone?!
