Snoot
I used to be a massive notebook fiend, struggled to walk past anywhere with Moleskine or Leuchtturm notebooks without buying something. Tried out the Evernote / Moleskine ones and upgraded to the smart Moleskine pen / book combo which transferred notes to your iPad.

For a few years I've been using OneNote on an iPad but in the last few months have been enjoying going back to an old notebook and think I'll stick with it even though my handwriting is weird as it's morphed from capitals to script...

Apologies for the Amazon link. Action Day weekly planners are my preferred option. I'm yet to write in it amazon.co.uk

I also always have a lined A5 notebook for jotting down notes, making a note of what I buy, eBay sales etc. I purchase these from TK Maxx.

I've got several little notebooks for lists. I much prefer them to a phone or chrome book. Never got into writing a journal or diary proper though.

Sigh
I'm still using the Diarium app ( diariumapp.com ), which I find so useful for tracking all kinds of stuff - plus it has the 'on this day' thing, too:

I’ve had the Big Life Journal to complete during 2025. It’s all about mindset and the way we think about ourselves and the world.

I have this amazon.co.uk arriving on Friday. I started bullet-journalling during lockdown, but don't really have time to do fancy stuff. It's more about formatting things in a way that I don't forget anything vital. I have my 'this week' layout on a mouse-mat kind of notepad thingy amazon.co.uk which means I can add things and tick things off easily, then I have all the master organiser sheets in an A5 filofax, often as word documents printed with A5 page sizes, which makes it easy to remove/add pages and use hand-written pages alongside. I wanted a journal with more guided stuff to try and be a bit more structured with longer term goals, and reflective. It only lasts for a few months though, so I'm interested to see how you all get on with yours and I might switch to something different when I've filled it. I've tried using all kinds of electronic options but prefer pen and paper.
