Yep tipsku, like running and everything else - practise, practise, and then practise some more. ![]() |

I've been trying to do the Core H programme for about a year now but I'm still at about 10x 5 sec attempts at the V sits - getting progressively worse with each of the 3 V sits. This is why I was wondering if there is some knack I just don't get. I've improved on all the other exercises and I'm able to do all of them for 60 sec but not the V sit. Lack of hamstring / quad strength or flexibility?

That Arnie article refers to V Ups, not V Sits.

I'm going back to kettlebells. Probably. If I stop hurting. Can I do kettlebells with a teeny-tiny double hernia? |

Lil I started again this morning myself as my core closely resembles a plate of jelly. Then i come to find the thread and see you have kicked it back off anyway. Uncanny. Am going to follow the runtastic six pack plan with one alternate session from above per week. Will shout at each other again ![]() |

V sits - are they: balance on your bum, legs up in front of you at an angle, trunk / head at a similar angle the other way, arms stretched out in front to help the balance? 'Cause if so - Tipsku - would it be easier if you allowed your knees to bend a bit, and then gradually straightened them?
