Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Still at it, but down to 2 sessions a week, and only doing standing core work now - seems to make sense. :)

More gym than running at the mo for me. Still think Pilates is best core class you can do. Tops! :-)G

Swimming.

I have the excuse of my first aquathlon coming up in five weeks and not really being able to swim properly yet. I really need to fix that. ;-)

Can I join? I started doing Body Pump, body Attack and Body Combat back in December, don't know if its a coincidence but seen my HM pb down by 14 mins and my 6 mile by 4 mins, 5K down 1.5 mins and my 10K is now bob on doubled my 5K time, think I have found MY distance. I credit to losing about a stone in weight but also strength training with especially Body Pump. Cardio hasn't been a major problem for me its always the legs that give up on hills etc but I feel stronger than I've ever done and seem to be able to power up hills much easier these days.

Hi Terminator.
So, how much core work do you all do per week> got to admit I am pretty poor with it. There is about 5 mins of core work at end of each class and I tend to do between 4 and 6 classes per week. Its all against body weight i.e. plank, side plank, crunches, etc etc. and not on a machine but is it really enough?
