There are no limits on , though what with work and a broken husband I may not have time to do my usual quantity of baking

I am declaring a DNS, my hamstring is not really happy and I'd rather not strain it. We also have lots of family things to get round and the later start isn't conducive. Maybe another day when it's pouring down again.

Although I shall be there I will certainly not be 'racing' the mile, my hamstring would not tolerate it at the moment

I can be a cattle prod :-p. As well as my own run, I can pace 2 or 3 other miles for 8, 9 and 10mm, or a specific time if someone wants that.

It's about 3 miles, there isn't a direct bus. The most direct, but not necessarily shortest, pedestrian route would be to come out of the station, down Station Rd, then turn right up Hills rd and keep going in virtually a straight line to the chesterton Rd crossroads, turn left, right at the mini roundabout then first left, first right, left at the end of the road and the tracks at the end on the right. It's certainly not a fun walk though - what time does the train get in? I'm tied up at parkrun til about 10:30
