I could jog it. The trains I'm looking at get in at 9:39 or 10:39 so I'd be late, or early.

Citi4 bus goes from the Bus station to Grange Road and runs every 20 mins on Saturdays. Still probably a mile from the rail station to the bus station though. I'm timekeeping at parkrun and have to drop a teenager off afterwards. |

I thought the uni buses only run Mon-Fri? I'm not a regular bus user though, so will defer to those who know...

the stagecoach uni 4 is only weekdays, the new service is being run by whippet and goes west cambridge, railway station, addenbrookes to tie in with the NW cambridge development, which is apparently going to be called erdington. It's not clear whether it's going to run at weekends at the moment. It's less good for us as after the station it's going on the bus way down to addenbrookes so will no longer stop outside school - the twins had got used to having a virtual door to door service!

it is, the kids have to check which one they're geting on in the morning or they'll end up in the bus station rather than at school

Interesting. Ahead of a race tonight, I was idly wondering what time I would need to run in order to improve my, frankly, disappointing Fetch ranking of 47 (Reindeer). Over the last 4 years my times for this race have ranged from 44:09 (55 Zebra) to 46:16 (52 Whippet). I fear I might stay a Reindeer for a little longer. But then I noticed the WAVA calculator. Typing in some highly achievable (or so my ego thinks) times for 100m, 200m, and 400m it turns out I could get into the 60's with a bit of nifty footwork on Saturday. Tell the yokels to budge up, looks like I'm coming to Cambridge in search of glory |
