Eynsham Red
The leaves on one of my two plants have been decimated. I was perplexed because it’s too high to be slugs or snails and I couldn’t see any caterpillars anywhere. My neighbor told me today that she’s seen the sparrows tucking into the leaves! There’s gratitude for out bird seed for them 😡

Measured this afternoon and tallest is nudging 9ft. Starting to bud a flower.
Going on holiday though so will probably miss their peak. Will have to rely on neighbours to look after.

Fierce and Focused Fleecy
Mine are going to be decimated in the winds, and I’m betting ds1 didn’t water them enough or at all while I’ve been away.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Oops, came home today to find one of the pots had blown over but no damage done fortunately. Moved them to somewhere more sheltered.

I measured my tallest. It's 200cm. What's that in old money?

The storms/rains have flattened ours. They are now lying face down in the dirt...

Mine took a beating from the rain, but I remain hopeful they will bounce back. The potatoes that were keeping them company have had it though :-/

Velociraptor
I now have a massive amount of ugly foliage and a few pathetic little flowers. Next year I won't feed them as well.
