Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Got my first flower at the weekend. Quite a small head compared to previous years. Hoping some of the other plants grow bigger flowers eventually. Still giving them Tomato feed once a week so live in hope :-)

Top growing everyone :-)

Must get some photos and measuring done! My best one which lost its head a few weeks ago has sprouted extra heads and is probably about 6 feet tall. Very impressed by some of the monsters here!

Mine are such a disappointment there is no point measuring. One is dead through lack of water, even though i’v Watered them all equally, it is near a tree and probably gets more sun than the others, I shan’t plant in that location next year.
The others that are still alive are about 4 ft tall.

I don't have any flowers yet, but heads are forming. My biggest is fence height, so about 6 foot / 180cm. I'm still holding out hope. A bit annoyed that my ones that are meant to be monsters were all out of date and so they all started late. We're trying feeding them, but it might be too little too late. Everyone else's look amazing!

WineLegs - 6 foot and growing is good. You've got plenty of the summer left to grow a monster :-) Feed em !

Hang on Fetch, I thought you wrote somewhere back that yours weren't coming to much? I might believe you about the steroids.

Mine all look like topping out about four-footish, with small flowerheads (one so far). Bigger pots might have helped, although the two in the ground are not any taller nor stronger. Compared to all the ones pictured, mine have hardly any leaves.

One of mine is about a metre tall, the other is a metre long but travelling sideways!! It got off to a weird start...not well, then came back growing but not up!
