Plodding gently towards Hereford.
Just passing the Roman town (?) of Magnis ( en.wikipedia.org ), and a very pleasant road to trot along!

On target at 281.3 this morning, position 71st. The target is my own - 50 miles a week mixed running and walking until I reach Checkpoint 6 (or is it 7) Shrewsbury at 300 miles. And to be in first 100 to reach that point.

Should do this by Thursday.

After that I'm going to take it easy. My track season is starting next week and I don't want to be competing with tired legs. So I may well be more a 25 miles a week person after Shrewsbury.

On the move again - slowly and gently! I can just about see Darwin's smoke trails up ahead so hopefully will catch up with him before too long :)

The promise of flapjack helped with the last one, Sushi. So I'm not taking the last bag out of the freezer until I get to Castle 2.

I find myself at 99.2 this morning, so I'm rather tempted to break my lunchtime walk into two activities so I can see Chepstow castle!
