Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sketchy at best dangerous at points but fun from a skills point of view.

Frozen rear cassette, icicles hanging from front chain ring, frozen shoe laces and hair... cracking 20 miles on the Fats, despite the ice reducing us each to a single gear! Love the snow, and the fats. We had to pour warm water on the rear cassette, mech and front mech to restore it's function - then I had to do the same with me! Just a couple of toes left to thaw out ;-)

I was meant to do the Ladies Swinley Enduro last sunday but it got snowed off. Did go up there saturday though to reccy the stages so at least I got to ride it even if it wasn't under race conditions.

Been postponed until September now, so will have 2 enduros in 2 months. Doing the Womens Hopetech one at Gisburn in October too.

Nice ride out with my hubbies MTB club this morning on local trails around Caerphilly. Muddy but good fun and rode tracks I wouldn't have even considered doing a year or so ago. Very happy.
