I’ve only ever walked from Linn of Dee but as I recall it, the paths heading West would be more easily covered by bike. I think you can cycle to Aviemore via the Lairig Ghru, but it’s been a long time since I was out that way so my recollection is sketchy at best. Paths to the north would be more difficult, I think. |

I’ve also heard of a circular route up Glen Lui and back down Glen Dee, via the Corrour bothy. But it depends how good you are at biking.

Thanks. I won't be going to Aviemore along the Lairig Ghru that's for sure!

Wondered about something easy just to scope the area out. fetcheveryone.com/routes-view.php?id=1871515 I've just made that up from the map though, I don't know how those paths would be. |

not been on the paths for the first 8 miles, but where you turn right just before the 9 mile mark, up to Derry Lodge, and back to the carpark, is land rover track (or I suppose we call it "gravel" these days)

Aye, that’s the sort of thing I was thinking of.
