I saw the women's race and it made want to do Actual Training and get back out there. I expect normality to resume the moment I meet a wet tree-root 😝

Looks like it was a busy day for fat tyres today - Managed to get out for a couple of hours of messing around in the woods today. Much fun :)

Off to look and test a Chisel for MrsG this weekend. I may get 2 and give up my epic

For what you do, Gobi, is say the Epic might be a better suited bike. Also for info, Nic is now sold on short-travel FS as being a better race bike than a hardtail...

I had a bit of a pants ride last night on the Monkey. I feel like I've lost loads of fitness and the bike was a bit skittish for some reason (I almost crashed at speed which is unheard of for me).

Cath - last night was VERY SKITTISH , chatted to a few people and they said the same. I nearly lost the front many times.

Oh I also cleared the Deviks staircase among my other happy moments last night.

So I know when I ride the Epic how good it is :-( that said to get EM on a lighter bike a Chisel will be good for her

Definitely see the Chisel as a good option for Em. Get it in time for Torq, eh...? ;-)

Which reminds me, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to make it to Torq 😭😭

whatever you ride, enjoy it :)

Gravel also welcome :)

Also, is 26 dead yet?
