Tubeless for the win. I've had 4 punctures in 3 years. And one of those was entirely self-inflicted. And another one was arguably also self-inflicted...

In 2 years I have had no punctures on tubeless in races or training.

I did explode one but then I broke the rim doing that so not really a puncture

One of mine was rim damage. One was a slice in the tyre (not much you can do about that).

The self-inflicted one was being a bit blazé about tubeless solution and basically running the tyre dry...

The other one was taking a stupidly lightweight tyre down a Lakeland rocky descent on a fully loaded bikepacking bike and riding as though it was just a normal day out.

Went tubeless last summer for son's perenially punctured MTB, not had a single flat since.

Now just need to finish off my fire-extinguisher-based tubeless inflator ;-)

We have a compressor at home. And also a new fandangled air shot thingy (google it. Ours is the Schwalbe version). We tested that on a particularly challenging wheel / tyre combo last week and it went up no trouble :-)

I've had a few punctures running tubeless mainly in Spain with the big thorns but also had them over here. Currently got tubes as I haven't been arsed to set them back up tubeless since coming back off holiday last August.

I'm pretty confident in tubeless as the front which was okay when I came back I pulled 9 thorns out off it and a couple of them were pretty large but the tyre stayed up.

Since the last appearance of Kaph, some time ago... there are now three wheel sizes, and now new plus (+) tyres for the even more adventurous!

26 / 27.5 (650b) / 29 / 27.5+ (650b+) / 29+ / fat
whatever you ride, enjoy it :)

Gravel also welcome :)

Also, is 26 dead yet?
