I went out with Nic today (on the eFattie :-P). Grim doesn't even touch the sides of how bad it was out there today. Lots of two wheel slides and sideways motion...

You know nothing of mud, Cathrob. Come for a local ride up here ;-)

No riding at all this weekend due to the FiL's 70th birthday party. I'm shattered. Los of 70/80 year olds at top speed and only one of them with the decency to go for an afternoon nap.

Soggy, rainy, muddy FtD tonight with a few efforts :-). 'Twas good, aside from having to wash everything when I got back again....

Fixed ANOTHER puncture this morning, before brekkie. Am converting to tubeless next week... From what I've read there's a 50/50 split on whether it's worth it or not, but I'm putting patches on my patches at the moment so anything's worth a go! Any thoughts?

Changing a fat tyre is infinitely less than the equivalent operation on a road bike or, especially, a Brompton, so you ain't going to get much sympathy from this mud-curious roadie ;)

I changed the tyres on my roadie after a weekend where I got 3 punctures, one which lead to a DNF in a triathlon and haven't had a puncture *touches wood since. My MTB though... different story... It's like the thorns come-a-lookin' for me!

Gravel also welcome :)

Also, is 26 dead yet?
