My area is already discussing water shortage and hose pipe ban if this goes on. The water pressure is noticeably lower

Even in Scotland they're warning us of risks of water scarcity. The climate emergency isn't just sunnier summers, even here n Scotland it's going to include water problems, and of course at other times of year more frequent and more severe storms and flooding. Horrendous story about UK recycling being trafficked to Turkey and then burned stockholmcf.org |

It was a cool 12 degrees last night so no heatwave yet. Day time temps are around 23/4. I find those very normal Summer temperatures but apparently, it is going to be 30 on Sunday, 35 Monday and 30 on Tuesday... Going to suggest working from 7 - 10 am. |

I have been having regular "lucid" dreams and they all involve us living in a tropical climate with most of the lower lying areas covered in 1-2 metres of water. Sun blasting, African style skies and temperatures...

Rf - I would like to see all new build windows and doors to have an in-built insect filter which allows air but not bugs in as an example

You can DIY (1) or get them pretty cheap to add on retrospectively (2). Either 1) use net curtains and can velcro the sides 2) use magnetic screens / mesh |
