The cameras kept them away until the end of last year, when my building went up at last. I started the proces in 2018, they delayed/obstructed me getting planning so it took until 2020 before I got it and started work. Initially on my entrance. Then due to Covid everything took ages and we didn't start building until September 2021...
The building blocked the path of the camera than pans part of my land but doesn't reach to the back. They started climbing over the fence again. I put more 6 ft fencing up, now they are climbing over the fence at the back into my young hedge. This has actually created two faint "paths"!!! I have cameras now on the new building, so you cannot get close without being filmed. They are night vision as well. End of last year, they cut my fence, I am now double fenced: sheep netting and 6 ft fencing inside that, dururing a powercut!!!! Before power goes off there is an integral fence. When power is back on, the fence is cut!!!

But I will point out what you said Dave: that my statement should be enough!

Hanneke how did your neighbours delay planning? Surely its down to the planning authority, comments from neighbours should be taken into account but should never delay a decision.

Don't start me Hunk... I really do not want to go back there! They used the local councillor and the Parish Council and disputed and continue to do so the ownership of my land. I bought it from them in 2006...

Planning processes aren't straighforward and they made me re-draw/design etc three times for a start...

He is on the PC, local councillor is also related. Once I realised that they should have declared conflict of interest, we were 1.5 years along!!! As soon as they were made to declare conflict of interest it required an independent councillor from North Herefordshire to glance at my application for 2 minutes to say why the heck didn't this go through first time?

Once I started work, they came out every single time, harassing me, workers etc etc and the saga continues. They measure everything, complain about everything, which is why Balfour Beatty came out, but so far I just dig my heals in. I won't move, like their other neighbours. But it isn't good for my health!!!

Hah! Getting back to the environment and away from my conflict: I wonder if I can have my garden declared an SSSI, on grounds of it being habitat for the extremely rare Black Hairstreak! Then whoever touches a blade of grass will be prosecuted... Must look into how restrictive that is for me... Imagine these signs all along their boundary: SSSI. Access strictly prohibited. Trespassers will be prosecuted!
They know I can't do much currently when they hop over the fence because they make sure I have no proof it is them!

You need some sort of video surveillance...then you'll know who they are.

I have that, they avoid it by cutting the fence during a 12 hour scheduled power cut for example, or entering my workshop before I had the 2 adfitional cameras so the could sneak in from the back.
