Thanks JD. I only read the highlights but it seems on point. I’m lucky to live in the mearns which is Scotland’s bread basket. Great local meat, local fish, local veg.

I read an interesting article about the impact of dog poo on the environment, in my Dutch newspaper. There are now so many of them in the Netherlands, it is becoming an issue in the woods and parks.

Dogs on a standard meat-heavy diet have a larger CO2 footprint than SUVs (whole lifecycle inc embodied CO2). And the bigger the dog, the bigger the footprint. Our pets also need to eat less meat. |
