I choose to see the monarchy as irrelevant as it’s easier than the alternative which is having a rant. Plenty of rants viewable on the politics thread.
I’ll be getting a coach back from London at midday on the Saturday.

I will be at parkrun as usual then off out for a retirement lunch so the telly won’t be on.
Seems this far up Scotland there doesn’t seem to be that much interest.

I live in one of the few conservative voting, monarchy loving areas of Wales, so it’s difficult to avoid all the shite around the heavy hat wearing shenanigans.
I’ll be trying my best to avoid it all by carrying on as normal. Staunchly in the second camp.

Volunteering at parkrun as usual then I'll probably watch some of the stuff from W Abbey as it's a historical curiosity that I've never seen before. No other interest in any of it and all the before & after bullshit can do one.

I'll be running in the Howgills while the coronation is on telly, but will take part in the village tidy-up and flower planting event on Monday and keep my republican feelings to myself.
