Was it lovely, Fleecy? ;-) The mementoes (-tos?) look great - I'm always massively impressed at people's cleverness in finding fun things to remember the day by.

*Please* make the next one a day I can make :-)

Any bridges near you Daisy? Praps you should put a bid in for somewhere that works for you on a day you can do? Xx

It was my fault Seren, I'd entered a race here in Devon before the date was fixed. I'm happy to travel to where the greatest concentration of Fetchies can be found.

LD, there must be bridges between Kemble and Cricklade. And if there aren't enough, we can hop, jump or leap across the Thames as often as we might wish, I suppose.

It was a great day even for the non-runner. I walked for about as far as I dared in order still to get back in good time, but I could have gone on for another half-hour. At the end of my walk, I found a church coffee morning where I had an excellent piece of coffee-walnut cake with a cup of tea, and then there was a bus back to Reading waiting.

I ran for bits of my walk on the assumption that there would be some new CQ zones, and I am content that I did run in each of them. This, therefore, is the beginning of CQ-ing along the Kennet & Avon.

For the first two miles of the walk, I kept on being overtaken by the slow mob. They were zigzagging all over the place in order to cross more bridges.

Thanks, Mr & Mrs Commando. A very successful day. We even went to the right pub.

I got back at 5. A great day out with perfect TBC weather, company, mementos and the pub was great all round. Nice to see/meet everyone including the non-TBC-runners. :)

Well done Commandos, a sterling job done! bunting :)

Now, where did I put my sticker book?.........

I've just tried counting the bridges on the short route and I make it 20 - any further offers? :)
