That was to Capt S. Getting to/from the SW can be a right old butt pain when they're not doing well...

4th Feb, Bel and the dragon, Reading, 11am.
Pub say all good, including bag leaving. A menu will be forthcoming soon. To confirm attendance fmail me your choices (notyetidonthavethemenuyet) or tell me you are coming and not eating.

Route needs checking and finalising (next weekend, weather is yuk and I just did xc). Should be roughly 10mile or 10k. Or have a walk by the river.
Momentos are in progress.

What have I missed?

Thanks for organising this JC. Not sure yet re food, what will be deadline for decision? Just looked at train and surprised it's actually cheaper than driving. £12 return, from Bicester village just before 10. That means I could fit the park run in which just so happens to start/ finish by the station.

I will either be early or slightly late! Train just before 9, change at Guildford. Starting to get quietly excited :)

What I have missed is - if you have the sort of dietary requirements that might require off menu choosing, maybe let me know now :)
Dunno about food decision - probably a couple of days beforehand.

any idea of the route yet JC ? I'm going to have to catch up with you guys after I've dropped Teen2 at central pool. Out for a posh meal that night so pub may have to be a drink and dash off kinda thing :-(

Looking forward to this :) I'll probably get the train so I can have a couple of pintpint afterwards.
Fidgety Midget is coming, I'm fairly sure.

I've just checked the train prices and it's over £100 for a day return so I'm afraid I'm out :( It's a lot more expensive travelling from Scunthorpe to Reading than to London.
