Fingers crossed Linds heart
Thanks so much SK. Are we meeting at 11? If I run the whole thing I certainly won't be there by 1pm especially as we usually set off late. :-) Hopefully some of the speedier peeps will get there by then.

11 miles will take me well over 2 hours - please don't all leave before I get to the pub :-)
Can someone please confirm where we're meeting - is it the NT I'm heading for?

Sadly won't make it as we're now booked to go to France that day. Have a great time everyone.

Meeting at the Royal Festival Hall.

I will be doing a slow run/walk for around 5km then taking public transport to the pub. Happy to change the reservation to 1.30 if that makes more sense.

Pub is The Bridge in Barnes: thebridgeinbarnes.co.uk - I've added it to the race noticeboard.

Thanks Sally, RFH it is.
Maybe a slightly later time at the pub would indeed be sensible?

Re the route: don't want to cause confusion at this late stage, but I see the route takes us around the back of Battersea Power Station before going over Chelsea Bridge. I'm sure that it's possible to run around the front of the power station (the river side), on a traffic-free route, thereby cutting out the much less attractive main road and roundabout before the bridge. Is it too late to amend the route?

I recall that GordonG - I think it's fully open now the renovation of the area is complete. That's a nice little reduction in mileage.

SK - I think 1.30 may be more realistic for a lot of us. But it sounds like there will be an advanced party. I guess it depends how relaxed they are about people coming and going.

.... at different times. My memory of previous visits (quite a while ago now,) they were quite accommodating. But it may be worth letting them know.
