When we get to the power station we tend to just feel our way and find a route past / through :-)

I don’t think there’s ever been a TBC where the published route has been religiously adhered to :-)

Yes, I can't remember whether I copied an old route from a time when the riverside was closed. The route planner's a bit fickle round there anyway. Run as close as you can to the river & cross any available bridge is probably sufficient!

I will aim to stop after crossing Chelsea Bridge (around 6km), then get the tube to Hammersmith.

TBC, route details TBC :)

I shall be walking, possibly with the odd little run depending on leg/hip/back/whatever (sciatica apparently. Boo!). I'll be looking to grab public transport when convenient from about 10k ish depending on the time. There's helpful.

Ok I looked - Plan A Wandsworth town at 7 miles (assuming less distance at Battersea) train to Barnes, Bus 33 to the pub.

JC, I'll be only walking but haven't looked at the logistics yet, probably hope to walk 5 miles-ish in the time.

If the weather forecast stays as it is today (currently predicting 25 C) I'll be walking as well!

I don't think I've ever yet run the same route through the Battersea area :-) But I do recall being pleasantly surprised last time that the construction hoardings had been cleared away and it was easier to find the route.

Meet 11am outside the Royal Festival Hall.

Lunch now changed to 1.30pm at The Bridge. See race for a link to the pub website if you're not running the whole route & need to navigate there by public transport.

We can choose either the bar or the garden so I suggest the first people there decide, based on the weather! Booking is in the name of Sally.

I am 99% certain to be walking now, partly because I want to do Burgess parkrun first and 5km is about my limit at the moment.
