I find that interesting; do the organisers offer pacing to overseas runners as some sort of discount for getting into the race maybe?

I might be wrong here, but forecasts for windspeeds tend to be more reliable from a decent distance out, so fingers crossed that aspect of it is true at least!
Shades Apr 2024 10:00am, 12 Apr 2024 2,229 posts	Quote Pin Shades The humidity can be a more important factor than the temperature. larkim 5 degrees would be too cold for me and I would probably DNS at that temperature unless it was forecast to warm up quickly. I like 15 - 18 degrees as my perfect temperature.

I detest running in hot weather, but 15 would be fine. Though my club vest is black, so any sun does make it feel warmer than it really is!
