Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Essay is submitted. Three and half hours before the deadline!!! Originality report showed 6% and green so hopefully ok fingers crossed. I just need a pass mark at this point Ill accept anything that is a pass. I found a few little extra bits this morning which hopefully backed up stuff I wasn't sure if I needed to or not. Including my contents page and in text references I was at 4998 words on a 5000 word essay. Turnitin is quoting 5500+ with references though.

Another medication practice exam tomorrow then a week to get myself back on an even keel before back potentially back to placement.

I am now going to literally tear up all the paperwork of notes, quotes and scribbles I have made and throw it all in the bin.

"Never ditch a draft". A snippet of wisdom passed to me by one of my PGCE tutor 30 tears ago. I still have all my notebooks, essays & projects... :)

EB, well done on beating that essay into submission. :)

Maybe I will hold on to it all until I have my results then lol. I just want that feeling of relief which I am not going to get until the results are in anyway really

Thankyou :-)

Well done eb, although cutting it fine ...

I still have my A-level (72-74) and uni notes (74-77) in a box in the loft and all my MBA notes & essays (95-98) on my laptop.

I'm sure they'll be needed someday .... although was recently thinking the school & uni ones could go. I do occasionally use & look up stuff from the MBA even now.

Three and a half hours is ages. Most of my students get them in sometime in the two hours before, but there's at least one that was almost too late (on the dot of 4pm).

Never good to ditch the drafts until the results are in, that's why academics have file names like Nutrition paper v12 final FINAL2.docx. (We ask to see the drafts, notes etc if we're looking at academic misconduct cases - not that I think there's any chance of that for you EB).

I've ditched most of my notes from school. Some of the neater ones from uni have survived. I've kept all the books though.

I'm never normally that late, usually always at least a few days before. Was panicking a bit incase the website crashed with the last minute rush from everyone but it was OK phew. Its my last essay I just hope I don't need to redo it.
Panicked this morning as I had an email saying my one drive contents were going to be deleted but all sorted out it was my personal one drive not uni and I just hadn't added it to my 'Microsoft family'.
Safemedicate practice this morning and I screwed up on a simple calculation after four weeks of practice tests of 100% I now drop one point two weeks before the real thing. Most annoying part was I didn't even pick it up when I went through all the questions before submitting it.
Having to have strict talks to myself atm as I feel like everything is just going downhill. However, I have submitted the best version of my essay I have so far. Nothing major was picked up by my tutor so hopefully I have enough to pass. I am going to practice and practice the stupid simple questions I occasionally drop a silly mark on and make sure I get enough sleep for the week before the exam so I am clear headed and well rested.
All word documents containing sections I was working on and not submitted are still in my account and I have a pile of papers/books that

aren't disposed of. Six weeks left, all I have to do is get through the next 6 weeks then 🤞 it's all
over.

I'm halfway through my masters!! It's all online which means its not been affected teaching wise but everyone on it works in health or social care so the essay requirement dropped from 4000 to 2000 words this term and we didn't have to do the normal discussion boards. Just got my essay back, I am ok with 64% but it seems so random what I get, it is not all to do with effort. I was marked down for presentation this time and I am not sure why, there are no comments, will chase these up on Monday.

Hang in there everyone
