Hello, fetchie students and supporters thereof :)
I'm hoping to join your ranks - I've seen a PhD position on a project called SepaRope (the capitalisation is a bit odd, but I like it, it's about the separation of powers between EU institutions), and I need to write a 2-3000 word proposal for what I'd like to research - which is how the impact the benighted Brexit process has had on the relationship between the parliament and the Council.

I finished an LlM back in 2017, in human rights and humanitarian law, but it was a taught rather than research one so I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing, any help or advice anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. The deadline for submitting it is the 19th.

I did email the project leader to ask if she had time for an informal chat, but she said they have a policy of not chatting to potential candidates to avoid giving anyone an advantage, which seems a bit odd, but maybe Dutch unis have different traditions to British ones.

You best get writing Rae! I didn’t do a proposal but GG’s approach seems sound, maybe a google for example proposals in that field might be useful, or finding a current PhD in that area to ask for advice.

Ask ITG perhaps. I did do a proposal and have looked at many. Happy to look at yours. There is info also on the web. Hold on

So I'm just waiting for my essay result now. I got my safe medicate 100% pass I needed phew. I logged in and checked it three times and still didn't really believe it I had to my OH to tell me it was right 🙈
In my defense the results came out early so I was double checking date, time and type of assessment lol.
