Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Am marking a bit today.

EB, it's a good idea to see your PT, and these things can be done very quickly.

Many many thanks for that Fleecy, saved me a load of lost marks for silly mistakes in referencing

Itโ€™s in - I am not very happy with it but itโ€™s done and now I can get in with some of the rest of my life for a bit

Well done TM. I'm trying to find the motivation to do my case study (due Friday but really need it done by end tomorrow). It's not difficult, and I've got some of it done, it's just getting down to it and getting everything I need to write squashed into just 2000 words.

Will be very glad when it's done!

Well done TM :)

I have spent the whole, beautiful, sunny Bank Holiday weekend in bed with this virus, unable to do anything. Now I really desperately need to get on with some work.

So glad it helped TM :) I spread the love for that site wherever I go, dead handy for silly errors which are easy to fix.

Hope you get something done Carp

I did. I now have 3800+ words in the essay with another third to write. And a word limit of 3500 *smacks head*

Ok so update on where I stand atm. Another meeting planned with pdt team on 24th this time whole cohort has been 'invited'.

Still not recieved any feedback on my presentation (despite being told two weeks and I would be prioritised). Got to uni yesterday to find out other people did have feedback! Very angry and upset. Managed to find a tutor who would have a brief look at my work and give some very valuable feedback and pointers. Told the tutor in the lecture I didn't have any feedback, he asked the who group if any of them had not recieved theirs....... Lots of hands went up. He chuckled and said 'oh dear looks like I only did half the group'!!!!! In the morning we were told he would be marking the presentations. A few people had recieved feedback from him and another tutor which massively contradicted each other (his feedback was very critical to the point of saying none of it was much good) . They went to another tutor who agreed with the first one that they were on the right track it was all looking good and to continue how they were. At that point the student told her what happened and how it had happened to a lot of the others too.

Beginning of the afternoon two tutors came to have a 'chat' to get some feedback from us. We sat and told them everything we told the pdt team. They wrote everything down were very apologetic etc. They have promised to get our time table updated (at present we only have two weeks of study information on there despite not finishing until end of August. One person told them we had a meeting (doh) anyway they denied knowledge until more was said and they admitted they knew about it but atm had not been invited but that may change. So still waiting to see if they have managed to sort out lectures for this afternoon or not will login and check but hopefully they'll be there. Doesn't leave long to look at them this morning though.

Oh also informed the course is going to change but we aren't being moved over as it would disadvantage us not really told how or why except don't be concerned you will still have everything you need nothing is being missed ๐Ÿ˜•

So frustrating atm. Did manage to find out that someone has finally been allocated as module leader however they are really busy with other stuff so will have a 'team' helping.

I guess watch this space. There has been mutterings that the hospital are considering putting together a business plan to bring it all 'in house' ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I don't think that will happen but guess it shows how unhappy they are atm.

In the meantime exam on 22nd for bio science and presentation on 6/7th June. Head down until I'm out the other side ๐Ÿค“ ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽ“
