Yes we talk a lot about relatives (and friends) who are no longer alive, both with ds and our wider family/friends.

Thank you, too! Food for thought.

It is tests in exam conditions next week. She is working so hard but it’s like a mountain to climb. Not in today but full days Monday and Tuesday. We are starting to gather more text books and work more on homework together so it’s possible it will quietly become a split learning environment after all. Glad I stopped working today

That sounds good. We have tests this week, too, but I don't think she's done any of them.

Do they make allowances for those who need them - to adjust the conditions? I remember at university someone in my year was allowed to sit Finals in a room on her own because of stress.

I think part of the test is to find out how they deal with tests

Teen likes her front of the hall spot - the advantage of surname being early in alphabet. She’s made it in to every formal assessment - last one today - and has written stuff in each. The pressure to learn and cram is relentless but she is trying really hard to swim upstream with everyone else rather than let the current suck her down and under. That’s my extended metaphor for the day done ✅
