Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Another proud Mum moment. I took a spectacular tumble off the bike, with my head taking some of the impact. QP came straight over, was calm and immediately started running through his first aid skills to check me over. He then made me go out front when we set off again so he could keep an eye on me.

I finished the ride so I’m clearly not too badly injured. Pretty battered and bruised though and expecting to hurt tomorrow.

Great experience for him to apply some of his theory.
And very kind of you to “model” for him HP!

DD2 has got a summer job withe the local school sports camp. Has transformed her. Purpose, focus and some £ to boot. So relieved. She loves it and they want her 5 days a week from next week. She's in such a better place mentally. Going out with friends now and really enjoying herself. We'll see what Thursday week results bring but she's far more relaxed about things now. And breathe...

That's great CStar. A bit of purpose can make such a difference.

My two 18 year olds have just done their first week of warehouse work. Minimum wage, zero hour contracts, start at 6am each day doing hard physical work. But both seem happier having some focus and purpose.
