That's really good Meglet. T1 has been really worried by Cambridge and Birmingham going online-only.

Don't think Cambridge has gone online only. Think it's lectures online. Cd be wrong though.

Can't see any university being able to do lectures onsite. By definition they are large groups and no one would have the space. Plus they can be fairly well replicated online. Other teaching will take priority for onsite.

Yeah no unis will have big lectures but most are aiming for small group teaching and practicals. Oxbridge was weirdly misrepresented which is strange as they do much more small group teaching than most. I think it was them announcing no lectures for the year which misled everyone. Other unis probably won’t either but have just said what’s happening the first term

As far as I'm aware everywhere is planning for blended learning.

Seems like it GG
Ds2’s school have announced plans at last. One day a week of school for year 10s if they want it. Bubble of 14. Probably more like 10 I reckon as I know some parents won’t send them. One teacher so not normal lessons, really glorified babysitting. If ds2 goes in and does a day’s work that’s a day more than he’s doing at home, and hopefully he can have some real life social contact with friends since he has had zero despite my suggestions and offers of lifts. With a bit of luck it’ll nudge him towards engaging with GCSEs again.

Fuck knows how this will work come September
