Of course. I'm sure you're facing some of the same issues as the rest of us.

Oh the funniest thing happened yesterday. After spending all day putting our 1st June plan together, the DfE issued a document last night, to tell me that I’ve done it all wrong. How I laughed. Tough - that’s the best plan for our school, which takes into consideration the worries staff have about social distancing being possible in schools. If I dismiss and ignore their concerns, then I won’t have any staff to cover the classes and everyone’s children will have to stay home.

At the moment we don’t know how many children will be back. Like GM our head is working really, really hard on setting up the best plans but of course nothing is perfect for everyone. We’ve been working really hard to provide lots of learning at home activities. The challenge comes when we’re trying to do both and in a situation that can’t be totally safe. Stress levels will hit record heights!

You don't have to follow that guidance if it doesn't work for you. I'm still digesting it and seeing how we can implement most of the proposed practice.
Also interested to see national "Thank a Teacher Day" being proposed, but it seems that schools are expected to take the lead on it. I can't see it result in the sort of clapping, pot banging and fireworks that prevents my daughter from getting to sleep every Thursday.

I'm trying to work out, in a rural secondary with a catchment 20 miles across, how we're going to be expected to bring kids in without them getting on buses and with a staggered start.
In the large urban secondaries, I'm trying to work out whether there is a social distancing issue in the large covered bicycle sheds with just one shared entrance/exit.

Stick to your guns GM! I'm sure every head has a much better idea of what works for their school than anyone else.
Can't say I'm looking forward to the concept of hybrid teaching next semester. And possibly after that a semester 2 start to masters courses, so next summer may be a gonner too.
