Well done TT. A few from my club did it and they said it was tough going out there today.

Went 33.24 yesterday on a good 5 mile course (rolling, with a challenging ending). That's 6.39 a mile.
That leaves me needing to complete 1.2 miles in 9:35. I reckon that's doable. Not likely to find the race now to do that in, though. Puts me in a mentally good position, though - I don't like being 4 seconds from a milestone.

Right. There's an inter-club 10k handicap on Friday (Mablethorpe Handicap)
I've just run 10x800 @ 6.30/mile pace with 2 mins.
Assuming that I've not over-cooked it, and that I don't wuss out in the knowledge that I've got a marathon on Sunday, I'm going to give this one a bloody good go. I'm hoping that the staggered start will prevent me from haring off like a loon and let me pace this one properly.
We'll see.

5k race for me tonight, will be making a concious effort not to go off like a mad man like I did in my last race. Will be looking to get somewhere around 20:30 give or take a few seconds on this one.
Good luck DeeGee
