Another year done and dusted, and it's been another strong one boosted by a bunch of Runners' World refugees. Notable results included several people getting their first sub-3s (several of them big PBs): mattykay kicked things off in Seville, Alun also got his first sub-3 in London, then we had another flurry of first-timers in October with Charlesvdw breaking his duck in Amsterdam and rhb on the same day in Abingdon, then Paul N a week later in Dublin. Brunski, Miser and Chris also improved their PBs. 12 sub-3s this year is the same number as for the last two years, but this time all unique runners. |

No PBs for me this year but 2 sub 3s from 4 attempts. Apart from marathons I've been pretty below par at most other distances. Well done guys especially first time sub 3s and any PB efforts 👏 |

Didn't realise you'd had a pair of them OO61. An impressive feat for a MV60!

I've been a bit lean on pbs this year. Started well enough with a 10m, then 20m then 5k pb over March and April followed by a disappointing 2.47 in Newport. Even taking account of the fact it was confirmed as long, the execution was poor. 10k continues to frustrate me, yet again running my fastest 10ks within 10m and half mara races. I did manage though to get a selection for England masters 10k team for next year, so I am incentivised to work on thar before next July. Tokyo followed by London in the first part of the year then I'm hoping to run Malaga next December. That'll give until October to try and really focus on shorter distances. |

That sounds like a busy schedule DT19, do you take a small break after goal races?
