Me too Miser. Easy to underestimate the impact of work stress on our running. It might help to just take the pressure off for a while - get out when you can and do what you feel like? I find the less I run the harder it is to get myself out of the door even though I know I'll feel better afterwards and it helps me to manage the stress.

Nicely done UB, NYC is not a flat one so that's a great time.

First parkrun at Skipton for over a year, and a few seconds faster than the previous one too. So that's not too shabby. Lovely sunny day too, a bit of frost.

Frosty here this morning too jda. I had to scrape the car before I went to the shop. Not my preferred running weather though it was at least dry and still. I can't decide whether I'm even more nesh than I used to be or it's not usually this cold and wet at this time of year - one of my usual routes is still flooded.

Yeah I almost missed the parkrun as the car was iced for the first time ever! (bought in summer) and I couldn’t find the scraper. Not been particularly wet here though - it’s always wet, but just normal wet so far.

24km tomorrow, will be my first time over the magic 2h mark.

You did better than me jda. Started raining about 45 minutes into my run. 14 miles here - my longest since the marathon.

Used the excuse of the rain and the cricket to do 2h on the treadmill this morning, looking out the window it was definitely the smart option.

I'm getting a new treadie - not sure I'll manage two hours on it though!

Managed first five weeks of P&D so having a dram to celebrate tonight. 18 with 10 at MP today. Still running the MP miles a bit quick but hopefully it'll come a bit more naturally with practice. Lighter week next week.
