Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi Fleecy - September's a great time for new starts because there's not the almost built in failure of New Year Resolutions but most of us retain the start of the academic year thing. I think childhood memories of autumn term are very strong. Bound to be - first one at age 4 or 5 then every year 'til your late teens or well beyond.

I've just sort of blogged about it in a somewhat abbreviated not very well thought out way. In a rush to get something down.

Love it Mrs. Jigs. A gardening project seems very fitting for September. Would love to hear more about it.

I'm in. Mine was going to be swimming lessons, but I don't want to start them until the lake closes, which will be right at the end of the month. I guess I need to organise and pay for them, tell OH, etc. I can do that.

Also I want to say no more at work. I can report back every time I do that. I will need to do it a lot, starting Monday.

I’m going to start cooking. In that I will make things from proper recipes and make things for fun, rather than heating things up and buying cakes and treats.

I kind of started yesterday and made a batch of chilli but it was August so it doesn’t really count. I can call it the warm-up 😂
