In previous years, 10 am would have been too late. Is it less popular or are there more place? Also tempted by the new Hertfordshire half at Knebworth, which is the week before I think. One or other will be run more for fun and one at effort

That sounds interesting (I won't suggest it to the work posse I've recruited for St Neots, they'll think I'm trying to kill them - this is of course not true, I wouldn't let the people I'd like to kill at work anywhere near the stuff I do for fun). One of them did a mostly-trail half in October last year somewhere around here, can't for the life of me remember what it was though.

Is your workplace mostly-trail runner one of your work posse or one you'd like to kill?

She’s part of the posse, there is no overlap between distance runners and colleagues I’d like to kill now I come to think of it (distance runners and colleagues who’d like to kill me might be another story!)

It would be nice to make a Fetchival of this and say hello to each other, it used to be a Thing, but the last couple of years (since the new organisers) it hasn't been quite so sociable. Anyone up for a pre-run meet-up and photo, like the olds days?
