I've concluded that if I wanted to run with other people I'd have made it happen before now. Happy with my own pace and my surroundings.

I always used to run solo, like lammo I prefer the peace and quiet without headphones, although I have started running with a club (but still do my long runs on my own). Our club has groups running at different paces - 8 min miles, 9 min miles, 10 min miles and 12 min miles.

I run solo the vast majority of the time. No headphones, just out with my own thoughts, and enjoying the scenery. From my house I have a few different routes I can do, and also an option to link together different routes for longer runs. Sometimes, I may catch the train somewhere and run back along the coast path, but the majority of the time I just run from my house.

I prefer to run alone, usually first thing in the morning. I used to run listening to the radio or music but I'd now rather appreciate the quiet and any nature around me.

Ask the next-slowest person if they fancy a slower run one day.

No podcasts. No music. Go somewhere nice, listen to your breathing, enjoy your surroundings.

I mainly run solo. Most of the time I focus on the rhythm of running, including coordination of limb movements with respiration. I enjoy the sensation of the rhythm. But as is the case with other forms of bodily awareness, it takes some practice to acquire the skill of sensing the rhythm.

Having said I run solo, I used to regularly do interval sessions with the club, but they haven't been on for a while. It's partly a timetabling thing, I prefer to run in daylight and dodge the worst of the weather, and am lucky enough that I can do this. But also, I suppose I'm fussy about choosing my pace. Also, I can run out of the door rather than having to drive somewhere to meet people.

I do a mix of solo and group running. When solo, I sometimes listen to podcasts but only put one earphone in so I can still hear my surroundings. I have also found the Fetch games can be useful for routes and also the Fetch Treasure Hunt (https://www.fetcheveryone.com/forum/fetch-treasure-hunt-61138/) to make you look around.
