To hot to run here today so a 15 hilly miles done on the bike 😁

Oh no Womble, so sorry about your Mum, I hope you are getting advice and support, it's affecting so many people. Glad you were able to have a giggle at our antics, I had forgotten the bikini line conversation!

I did five miles today, throat not as sore as yesterday. Me running Betteshanger marathon looks pretty doubtful, but I will be there and possibly shaking pom-poms with Womble as MM, Frag, EB and Mr Lemon charge round in circles! I will however run the next day as I am in cakeathon so can do that as it's just a six hour challenge. Once I have decided for sure on Betteshanger - if it's a no - I will ask Traviss if I can switch it for one of his other 6 hour challenge events. Would still love to do it, I love the look of the medal, but have to be realistic. Watch this space. But either way, can't wait to meet you guys!

I did wonder if that might happen Lemon and if you can switch it would make sense - you have not had it easy lately. Now i was originally going to do the cakethon until i was persuaded otherwise

I know MM I think I dragged you all into this escapade, I do apologise! Well you never know, I might just pull a good chunk of training out of the bag and surprise everyone, I am the queen of massively under training for marathons.

Sorry to hear about your mum Womble x

Just been out for a 1.5 mile pootle - boy it was warm and there were swarms of mozzies. Forgot the bug spray so god knows how many bites I'm going to find as the evening goes on :-(

OMG! You're going to be at betteshanger that means I get to see you again for the first time in about 5 years...? How fantastic. Ok so no pressure on me now to be fit enough to do the race!

Lemon I do hope your feeling better soon x

My 10 mile run became 9 today. I ran around Graffham Water and thought I'd recalled it was 10 miles...... Nope it was just over 8 1/2.... I ran around the car park twice to make it up to 9 lol. Got a few funny looks but hey 😉 I actually proper loved that run today. If you'd told me at the beginning of July I'd run two laps of Richmond Park I'd have laughed at you. If you'd said I'd run 9 miles around Grafham Water as a cut back long run I'd have said you'd been ridiculous. I'm hoping for the same affect when I attempt my wine marathon in 12 days on a longest run of 14 1/2 miles! 😂😕😨
