Yes Lemon it will be run walk at marathon/slower pace. Thanks re PT session I did drop the f bomb when I thought I couldn't finish a last rep (only just managed it) and apologised.

Re holidays in England I love Cornwall and Devon. Just had two weeks in July there but we were camping. Enjoy your run tomorrow ☺️

My trainer would think there was something wrong with me if I didn't swear during a workout!!!

Well done with your PT eb, hope the cold stays where it is and you enjoy your run today, enter it into the SAP 10 if you need a bit of help to keep going - we'll be thinking of you. :)

Lem, hope you manage it today too. Did you find somewhere nice for your holiday?
kwala, I too swear a bit, well quite a lot actually. ;-)

I had PT on Friday and one of the exercises we could both hear my back going klonk, klonk as I did the given task. :-p Fortunately, I didn't end up with DOMS like last week. I did my parkrun yesterday and was virtually the same time as my last one so happy enough with that. I hope to be able to get it done without walking soon.
I then took myself down the beach on my bike and walked over 3 miles along the seafront and had 2 dips in the sea - summer, lovely! :)

My plan is to get out tomorrow for my SAP 10 then go down the beach. I'll bet there won't be a spare inch on the 7 miles of sand today - I'm off for a walk in the woods (New Forest).

Happy running, Bank Holidaying/weekending. :)

ar - how lovely to be that close to the beach, my nearest one is Southend, which is about 30 mins by train and no matter what they say about how clean it is now, you won't catch me swimming there!! Good luck for your 10 miler tomorrow :-)

And EB - hope you've kicked that cold to the kerb and your 10 miler goes well too :-)

I have been a bit of a lazy arse since Thursday. Housewarming at my nephew's later and baking this morning so not likely to run today :-( and didn't do my bugbuster yesterday as I forgot you had to get outside the mile circle and the route ended up being too far. Then no 1 son arrived home for the weekend so I binned any idea of even just getting out for a short one! I'll work out a longer route for the bike for tomorrow which should get rid of most of them.

Enjoy the long weekend folks :-)

Morning all. Been awake half the night with a horrible sore throat, it has been hinting at being sore all week but is really bad today so have not gone out for run. See how it goes, hopefully get a run in tomorrow as its bank holiday but I am at least being useful and got some washing on the go as it looks a good day for drying on the line. That belongs on the mundane thread really!

Horrendous nights sleep so no long run today. Luckily it's bank holiday and I can do it tomorrow. Congestion in my head and face is really starting to p**s me off now! Ibrufen gel on back and paracetamol taken. (I always get back pain if I stay in bed too long)

Lemon that sounds like me before my cold 'hit' it's one of those really annoying ones that makes need feel like shit but not ill enough to be confined to the sofa/bed. I hate being ill I don't do 'ill'

Kwala do I need to revert to the person I was when we met and chase you out the door 😉 How lovely to have your son home ☺️ Is he enjoying uni still? Hope you enjoy it when you get there x

AR never thought of logging in the SAP 10 thanks ☺️ How lovely to live somewhere you can get to the New Forest and the beach.

Thanks eb, yes I am lucky living here but the downside is being one of the most congested places in the country. As I headed out of town this morning the road coming in was choc-a-bloc as today is THE day in the year when everyone heads to pack our 7 miles of golden sands. ;-)

Can I just say a big thanks for making me smile this morning. As some of you will know it has been a difficult couple of weeks with the news that my mum has Alzheimer's but in catching up with the first two pages of posts, I came across the bikini line postings lol. Anyway back to reading up more sap news whilst I recover from my 4km run this morning. Thank you 😁
