Just looked at your profile....they aren't slow times to me :-) If and I still say IF I ever did a marathon I would be chuffed with your time. :-)

Thanks Lip Gloss but those ones on my profile are about 9/10 years old and I'm nowhere near that standard now. It took me 3h 19m to do 14 1/2 miles at the weekend. I'm estimating about 6 1/2 hours for my marathon in 3 weeks time. I recently ran 2 miles hard and only just managed about 11mmp. I haven't ran properly for at least 3 years now. I did Ely 10k on new years eve in 1h 12m 28secs so that's a better judge of where my pace is atm

That's lovely that there'll be 4 SAP-ers at an event that is made-to-measure for the likes of us. :) I am quite jealous of you all, but only on the meeting up point, not actually running a marathon. ;-)

Thanks EB - we've been Fetchies for about 10 years!!! Can you believe it!

I'm now wondering if this marathon you're all doing needs a Fetchpoint!!

Went for a run with club tonight - love it when there are only 2 of us noobs there, as there are always 2 Run Leaders, so it's like having your own personal running coach for the session!! I did the middle section of our local parkrun today, plus getting there and back so about 2.1 miles altogether. I've now covered the whole route over different runs so know what to expect at my parkrun debut on 2 September!!

Fragile Do Not Bend
A fetchpoint would be fab, we would pass it 13 times 😄

Glad you had a good run kwala.

AR, you could walk this marathon in the time limit, its 10 hours which is roughly 23 min/mile 😉

I know 😮 ten years!! Jen you are fetchpoint! It's a 2ish mile lap x 13 So I'd get to see you lots and lots. There will be smiles, laughter, tears, anguish and lot of sheer bloody determination to finish. You always know what to do be it a hug or a slap. I'd love to see you there but understand if you can't make it xx
