Must admit I was thinking new shoes at first - and when you said you had a different one for each session - that's a bit weird I thought!!! Then I twigged :-)

Just been for a massage with my old PT, as I've had a bit of a niggle develop in my ankle, so she worked on that plus calves and hammies mainly, bit of glutes and lower back thrown in for good measure. Feeling a bit battered now but hopefully will feel the benefit soon.

Fragile Do Not Bend
I made the same mistake regarding alpen's trainers, no wonder it made no sense to me!

Sorry to hear about your dad Stew. :(

No need to not swear on my account L10 😀- but get that training done!

Fragile Do Not Bend
I have a race on Friday, I'm hoping I don't come down with the cold that my hubby has at the moment, I've been feeling a bit iffy today. :(

Its one of those timed challenge ones, it's an unusual in that the laps are 13.1 miles so it's a half, a marathon or a DNF. I was planning/hoping to do 2 laps but if I'm feeling rough it's going to have to be one lap, mostly walked. And it's hilly.

You lot crack me up sometimes. :)

Frag, hope you haven't got a lurgy, one of my Aussie visitors had one and I said I didn't need that right now. Good luck for Friday, just stick to the half - you don't want to be injured now. ;-)

You 3 marathoners really need to knuckle down to your training, we'll be keeping our beady eyes on you. :)

Nutso Lazytoad!
Alpen Thank you :) I think fingers crossed they are doing the trick! The man said if I was doing them right my bum and hammy would ache like hell they do! I ran 3k on the treadmill yesterday and could walk this morning so feeling positive......

Frag my fingers are crossed for no lurgy!

I ran and yoga'd yesterday and am planning on running tonight just a steady 5k making sure to do my physio first! In other news my mums CT scan results are back and the white patch on her lung appears to be infection so phew back to see the chest doc in 6 weeks for another xray.
