Stewie - glad the hammies are ok, keep taking it easy for a while though, so easy to overdo it :-) I couldn't agree more about running in heat, luckily summer seems to be over now so don't have to worry about that any more!!

Thanks Kwala, biggest problem I have now is the extra stone and a bit I put on, its really annoying, my pace was improving my distance was increasing and my waistline was decreasing, now its the opposite ;)

I have run :-) 3 miles on the trails, a bit warm and some flies buzzing around but once I got going it was fine and I enjoyed it.

Glad to hear you've all been getting out there today, well done folks! :)

Just a thought about running in the heat, I hope you all drink plenty of water during the day before you go out, I'm sure that's what helps me.

I just have an extra cider when I get home Alpen ;-) not really but I do drink more water when it's warm weather.

1) Keep doing my leg exercises and add ankles to the plan
2) Cto5k/10k my way
3) Concentrate on 5k then 10k times
4) Try to get to +300 miles in a year (plus 1000 walking miles)
5) Arrive at the BH marathon start line fit and healthy, and have fun whilst covering the challenge

1) to start building some strength and flexibility work into my week
2) to get back in to walking every day for at least 30 mins
3) to shift some of the extra heft I've gained this year
