Good on you Stewie, it's hard when you have had a bit of time off, but you'll be alright. Talking of expanded waistlines I feel like a badly packed sack of spuds tonight, I have slightly over eaten leftovers from the weekend. A run is on the cards for tomorrow night after work though and I think it is time to get serious with my training, and start saying no to things that interfere with it, otherwise Betteshanger park will echo to the sound of my feet slap slapping slowly along and copious amounts of swearing! Frag and MM may need ear plugs!

Nutso Lazytoad!
Stew sorry to hear your news I hope your managing ok

Sorry I have been awol my mum is still awaiting her scan results and life is busy. I'm still running and training where I can when I can. In other news the Physio got me to see his boss and him today as he was concerned re progress. So I now have 2 lots of excercise for left and right my right is just a simple tweak for more power, my left knee and hammy however aren't giving me power as I aren't using them! Oh dear but man seems confident I have the right excercises and will see good progress now.

kwala, that's a huge amount to knock off - well done! medal

Lem, glad you family day was a huge success.
MM, good that your running's going well, best let your daughter get on in her own way.
LG, good running, try not to overdo it now.
Stewie, nice to see you again. Sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope you hamstring's now mended. It's tough getting back on it after an extended break, just try to get out and plod as regularly as possible for a couple of weeks then it'll all start coming back together.

I started with the new trainers last week. They're not into heaving heavy weights around and I really felt my bum after the first session. I had a different one for each session and they were completely different. They are targeting my glutes, tight hips and core, which is what I really need. Only 1 session this week as I'm having a bit of a taper this week. :-o Massage booked in for tomorrow.

Busy weekend with friends staying Sat night, out for dinner, over to the Isle of Wight for a jolly at the start of the Fastnet with trying on Rolex watches if you want. :-o I then had a last minute visit by some Aussie friends overnight on Monday so just catching up again now.
