Morning all
Got my LSR in yesterday, which will be my last long run for a couple of weeks as I'll be in Spain on my hols. Taking running kit with me but know from experience that it'll be short runs that I'll manage. On the plus side I'll get some swimming done too!

Not sure which thread this belongs on, but jut wanted to say I am proud of my daughter who, after 28 years of disinterest, has decided running is the way to get fit. Parkrun on Saturday, 1.5 miles yesterday and 1.5 miles this morning, with me alongside as personal trainer at gentle pace.

Good morning everyone. :)

I've finally caught up and glad to hear that you're still getting out there, all be it a bit sporadically at times.

My sister has been gone for a few days now and it's only now that I've finally caught up on Fetch! ;-)

I'm still managing to get out there and have a long one planned at the weekend then it'll be taper time until my half marathon. :-o

Been out with walking for health this morning and then did a 1.5 run/walk tonight - my buddy was suffering after a late night last night so we took it easy. Home now and feel like I should've (and could've) done a lot more.

I am just 2.7 miles away from achieving my highest monthly mileage in the 10 years I've been on Fetch - guess how far I'm planning to run on Sunday!!

Yay well done Kwala.

I have found the last couple of weeks that life has got in the way a bit of running, first week I was only holiday I loved getting out first thing and getting runs done, by the second week we were away for a few days and I don't seem to have got back into yet and of course I have been painting decking and stuff in the garden which seems to be dragging on forever :-(. We have Alfie this weekend so don't know how much running or gardening will get done although bless him he has been out playing while I managed to get more painting done. Agonisingly close to finishing.

Have a good weekend folks :-)

Well done kwala, you could have done another loop. ;-) Good luck for Sunday - 30 mile months from here on in then. :)

LG, you're ahead of target so I wouldn't worry.

I've planned my new longest ever run tomorrow as training - my last long run before the half marathon in just over 2 weeks. Eek! :-o

Enjoy your weekend folks. :)
