Fragile Do Not Bend
At the moment I can't imagine doing 100k in any way that's self propelled! But if I do it's more likely to be running than cycling as I'm not much of a cyclist. Have a good ride MM!

Nutso Lazytoad!
Hi all looks like so,e great running has been going on whilst I have been away. I'm now back boo!!! No running for a week and a half whilst away but loads of walking up and down huge hills! No parkrun tomorrow too tired and too many chores to do, but Sunday I plan to go to Oldham and get my new specs from Tesco which is right next to a parkrun so shall do a slow slog around the course to open my July account! Onwards and upwards eh, foot is still bothering me a tad but still seeing the physio and it's not stopping we running.

Another run for me tonight, we went for a R5/W2 option and managed 2.5 miles. Back to my usual ploddy pace after last nights sprints - well they were sprints by my standards!!!! My friend was a bit worried about not being able to do the 5k on Tuesday, but this has given her confidence a massive boost :-)

MM all the best for the looooong bicycle ride through France! 🍀
Nutso welcome home! We have done our best to keep ticking over while you were on holiday, and good to hear you will be parkrunning tomorrow. Glad your foot isn't stopping you, hope physio can sort it out.

Frag I am also not a cyclist, but as a kid I loved nothing more than whizzing around on my bike. Funny how as adults we stop doing some of the fun stuff. Mind you, the rural lanes of Norfolk have some very fast and crazy drivers so I'd be scared stiff on a bike now!

Kwala well done on another run! You really are on the comeback trail now! I'm now thinking I might let breakfast settle then head out for a couple of miles myself.

In healthier eating news I had another good day food-wise yesterday and also decided to tackle my Diet Coke intake again (I have tackled it and won before then reverted to my old habit). I have been drinking too much of the stuff. Way too much. So yesterday I had a cup of tea at breakfast (I need the caffeine) and then water and some lucozade (yeah I know, not great either but it was in my cupboard) and I am pleased to say no DC all day! Oh and I may have had a cider last night (Old Mout kiwi and lime) but you know, it was Friday night!

Have a lovely Saturday everyone, enjoy parkrun, general run, or Tesco or what enter you are doing :-) 🍋

Morning,
Never did parkrun today (shock horror), took the chance of a lie in although I was still wakened at my usual time but didn't feel the need to get up. Went and did 2 miles to keep the legs ticking over and went to Circuits as well so not been totally lazy.

WS going to tackle some more painting of the trellis round the decking but decided the house needs a bit of a tidy and we are going up north for a couple of days this afternoon so thought I best pack some bits and pieces.

Have a great weekend doing whatever:-)

Just back from volunteering at parkrun and will be off out soon to cheer on my running buddies at the Spitfire Scramble, which is a 24 hour race at our local country park. There's an actual Spitfire flypast, which is just amazing to see so I'll try to be there for that.

Oh I love seeing a spitfire flying past! Have fun Kwala. LG well done on run and circuits! I was going to have a run but I saw my Dad was next door. My aunt and uncle live next door, but my uncle is in hospital, very old and frail now and their garden is a bit out of control, so my Dad (78 himself) was tackling the hedge. I put gardening clothes on and headed straight round to help out!

Auntie now has a very neatly trimmed hedge and we've cleared a lot of bramble and ivy. So much more to do there though, but good work done in an hour or so and Dad and I had a good natter :-) I also sorted out some bits of wood for kindling for us, Mr Lemon will be pleased with the that when he gets home from work.

It's now chucking down so we packed up at the right time!
